no todo pero algunas cosas
wow. so i´m not really sure what i want to write about because there seems to be a lot of things. i think that i´ll just give you a bunch of little updates all at once.
- I can now understand most of the television that I watch in Spanish. And sometimes when I start talking it comes out in Spanish. Woohoo!
- Today I´m starting tango lessons in a building right across from the Congress of Argentina. Cool!
- It´s cold here. Like winter cold.
- This weekend I hung out with my familia the whole and it was great. I feel a lot more comfortable in my house and with them now and it´s fun.
- Last night I watched Tim Burton´s movie the Corpse Bride with my brother and sister, it was really neato burrito. The brides name is Emily in the movie so now mis hermanos know who I really am, drat.
- Today I´m going to work at what sounds to me like a homeless shelter or a comeor en castellano, and we´re going to serve some kids lunch. I´ll let you know how it goes.
- This Friday is the 25 de mayo, one of the independence days of Argentina so I have no officially planned activities but I´m sure something exciting will happen.
- Culture shock sucks, but it wears off.
- Copado means cool in slang here.
- Buenos Aires has the most psychoanalysts per person of any city in the world. I wonder why?
- I figured out how to upload pictures finally so I´ll try to do some of that today.
- I have to go. Oh, and I got skype so look me up.
